I’ve worked with Zoe since high school, which was many, many years ago. It’s amazing that we were able to reconnect to capture headshots for her brand as a violist. Zoe has always been super talented with music, namely classical strings instruments. Now, not only is she a music teacher, but she’s also part of a Klezmer music group, and has even been a featured performer for TD Union Summer.

Anyways, Zoe has always had the coolest, grungiest, style and this session was a combination of her  edgy style meets her music. I wanted to capture posed images of her that she could use for headshots, as well as more candid photos of her playing the viola that could be used, too. And, when she started playing in the middle of High Park amidst the cherry blossoms, people slowly started gravitating towards us as I photographed her in her element.

Overall, this shoot  was amazing because Zoe was unbelievably calm and patient, and as usual, brought an ethereal and serene vibe to all her photos.
