Toronto Holiday Mini Sessions

Agape Love Films offers relaxed holiday mini sessions in Toronto for families, couples, and little ones who want warm, meaningful seasonal portraits without anything feeling overly posed.

Each season, I choose a thoughtfully styled Toronto studio space for these sessions. You’ll receive gentle direction throughout, while still having room for natural connection and personality. Afterwards, your final edited high-resolution images will be delivered in a private online gallery.

This year’s Holiday Studio Minis will take place in the Art Room at ICON Studio Space, featuring their Floating Wishes holiday installation.

The set feels soft, bright, and elegant, with a monochromatic palette of ivory, white, pearl, and silver. A flocked Christmas tree, satin bows, layered ornaments, oversized floating baubles, coordinated gift boxes, and an ivory cloud sofa create a light and timeless holiday setting.

For wardrobe, creams, warm neutrals, soft browns, muted greens, burgundy, subtle tartan, and rich textures photograph beautifully against the lighter set. You do not need to match perfectly. Instead, choose coordinating tones and textures that feel comfortable and natural together.

Planning Your Holiday Mini

A little preparation goes a long way. Here’s what to know about wardrobe, little ones, and what you can expect from your session.

Your 30-minute holiday mini includes gentle direction throughout the session. Afterwards, you’ll receive 30+ final edited, high-resolution images in a private online gallery.

Warm neutrals, creams, soft browns, muted greens, burgundy, tartan accents, and cosy textures photograph beautifully with the holiday set. You do not need to match perfectly. Instead, coordinating colours and textures usually creates a more natural look.

Yes. I keep these sessions relaxed and gently guided, so little ones do not need to sit still or smile on command. We’ll make room for movement, connection, and their personality as the session unfolds.

Arriving at ICON Studio Space

Give yourself a little extra time to park, enter the building, and find the Art Room. That way, you can arrive feeling settled rather than rushed.

Your session takes place at ICON Studio Space, 142 St Helens Ave in Toronto. The Art Room is located on the third floor.

Please arrive in the area about 15 minutes before your session so you have time to park. Then, aim to arrive at the studio about 5 minutes before your booked time, ready to begin.

Free street parking is typically available nearby, although finding a spot can sometimes take a few minutes. I’ll also have one underground parking space available by arrangement. Once you enter the building, take the elevator to the third floor and follow the studio signage.

On the Day

Once you arrive, the session itself should feel simple and easy. A few small details around timing, weather, and studio etiquette help the day run smoothly.

Your session goes ahead rain or shine because the Art Room is fully indoors. Weather will not affect the photography itself, although you may want to allow a little extra travel time in poor conditions.

Mini sessions run on a set schedule throughout the day. As a result, arriving late may reduce the amount of photographing time available. Arriving a few minutes early helps us make the most of your full session.

Please bring clean indoor shoes or use the shoe covers provided. In addition, children should stay supervised around the holiday set and studio furniture. To keep the space ready for every family, please leave furniture and set pieces in place.
