Getting caught in the rain doesn’t have to ruin your photoshoot. Many of us believe that when it starts raining, all our plans have to be scrapped. But that’s not always the case.

Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Shantal on a rainy day. Despite being all dressed up, she was ready to go with the flow and make the most of the situation. She grabbed her umbrella and danced in the rain, creating a unique and fun atmosphere for the shoot.

Thankfully, the rain wasn’t pouring down heavily, allowing us to capture some stunning shots of Shantal amidst the beautiful cherry blossoms. The mood of the photoshoot was light-hearted and casual, a “just because” type of session.

In just 20 minutes, we were able to capture a wide range of portraits that Shantal could use for her social media profiles and as personal memories of this past year.
